Joanna Mead Counselling and Psychotherapy

Joanna Mead Counselling and Psychotherapy is an online private counselling and psychotherapy practice, supporting adults aged 18 and over across the UK.

Joanna offers one-to-one counselling and psychotherapy tailored to individual needs, primarily through online sessions, with telephone counselling also available. She is currently working online and by phone for new clients.

She works with a wide range of issues including trauma, PTSD, abuse, neglect, anxiety, depression, addictions, relationship challenges, bereavement, eating disorders, self-esteem, self-harm, loss, and women’s wellbeing. Support is available for both short-term and longer-term therapeutic work, depending on each client’s situation.

Joanna qualified as a counsellor in 2010 and brings extensive experience from working within addiction and sexual violence services. Her background includes roles with SARSAS, the YOU Trust, and DHI, as well as supporting individuals affected by drug and alcohol use.

She is a Registered Member MBACP (Accredited) with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (membership number 375093). Joanna holds an MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy, a Professional Diploma in Counselling, postgraduate training in CBT and trauma studies, and is a qualified Counselling and Psychotherapy Supervisor with a Diploma in Relational Counselling Supervision.
